Needs
There are special critical applications which require very accurate and extremely fast control of the airflow and pressure conditions in special purpose rooms. Such rooms include:
- Operating theaters or clean rooms, where pressure conditions must be such that no bacteria or polluting particles can come from the areas outside the theater into the room (controlled overpressure).
- Quarantine stations or stations where hazardous substances are handled. Such rooms require “under-pressure” to ensure that no hazardous substances can leave the controlled area.
- Laboratories with fume hoods, which require immediate extraction of hazardous gases once the hood is opened as well as instantaneous tracking of general exhaust and make-up air to maintain correct pressurization.
Solutions
Phoenix Control Venturi valves and controllers provide verified solutions for maintaining air pressure inside defined limits in critical applications. These solutions smoothly integrate with CentraLine systems.
Different integration points are possible to suit different application scenarios and system sizes. Traccel and Theris controllers can directly integrate with HAWK through LON or BACnet, or integrate through control servers with the CentraLine BMS system.
